Dr. Carlos Garcia
Dr. Garcia was born and raised in San Juan Puerto Rico.
Dr. Garcia earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where he majored in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Following his undergraduate studies, he went on to earn his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. After graduation, he spent three years working as a general practitioner in both Miami and the Tampa Bay area, where he developed a strong foundation in companion animal medicine and surgery.
Seeking to further specialise in surgical care, Dr. Garcia completed a Small Animal Surgery specialty internship at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists. His additional training enables him to handle a wide variety of complex surgical cases with confidence and care.
He focuses in surgery and has a passion for helping pets in need that otherwise would not be able to afford such advanced procedures.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Garcia enjoys embracing the Florida lifestyle. He spends his free time at the beach, working on cars, cooking, weight lifting, and, above all, cherishing time with his wife and family. Fluent in both English and Spanish, he is proud to serve the Hispanic community and build stronger communication with all of his clients.
